Great graphics, story line and puzzle complexity. The puzzels sequences can be quite long and involved.
I bought the third person version at Wal-Mart and spent about three days playing it. I think one of the things I had against this game was the fact that it was first person and you had to use both the mouse and w,a,s,d to move and the camera was a bit too sensitive even if I changed the options. I loved it. I really liked the premise of hunting down this French thief in the many places the game took you. It was a bit buggy and slow in some parts, maybe it was just the computer. I'd definitely recommend to any Sherlock Holmes lover or just any lover of mysteries and puzzles.
I found this game to be relaxing and fun. Other sherlock holmes, like "the awakened" have lots of gore, mutilation, and twisted storylines. The music was pleasant, it takes you around nice places, and the story line is exciting. At first I was hesitant to buy this game. But this one had no blood, and no scary scenes whatsoever. I highly reccomend this game for anyone who likes puzzles, exploration, and not having to deal with scary scary scenes.
I thought this was a fun game. The puzzles were challenging. Is the other title for this game the same thing or does it have different stuff. I got this game for 9.99 at walmart in case you are looking for a good buy.
I played the first Sherlock Holmes:The Awakening, and enjoyed it, yes it was rather hard, since it was the first time I had played a game like this, but the challenge of it made it fun. I bought Nemesis and found it to be even better, the graphics are much better and the story is more interesting and easier to follow. It is challenging as well, but in this one the clues are easier to figure out and the overall pace is better. But I will say that the walkthrough is helpful, although I found out more than once if I just thought it out the answer was right there all along.
